Card condition guide

Every card we sell is Near Mint and in English. This page explains what that means, so you know what to expect.

What Near Mint means

A Near Mint card looks like it came straight out of a pack. Look closely and you might spot a tiny mark, such as:

  • a very small white speck on an edge or corner
  • a faint surface scuff that you only see when light catches it

That's as far as it goes. A Near Mint card has:

  • no creases, bends or dents
  • no scratches you can see when holding the card normally
  • no peeling, stains, water damage or writing

Foil cards

Foil cards can curl slightly in warm, humid weather, which is normal here in Brunei. A gentle curl isn't damage, and it usually flattens again if the card is kept under something heavy for a day or two. Foils can also show faint lines from the foiling itself. Those come from the factory and don't count as wear.

What we don't grade

We don't judge centering (how evenly the borders are printed) or small printing marks that came from the factory. Those are part of how the card was made.

We don't sell graded cards, and we can't promise what grade a card would get from a grading company such as PSA.

How we check

We look over every card when it goes into stock, and again when we pack your order.

The pictures on our site show the printing, not the exact copy you'll get.

If you're not happy with a card

Check your cards at the counter when you collect them. If one isn't Near Mint, tell us before you leave. We'll swap it for another copy if we have one, or refund that card. Our terms of sale have the details.
